A little more about Mrs. Pointer...
I have been teaching for 20 years, spending 18 of those years in the Ann Arbor Public Schools.
As an educator, I have had the privilege working in many different roles, including teaching Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Fourth Grade, Year 1 (in England), and recently working as a remote teacher at A2 Virtual. I'm so excited to teach 3rd grade at Logan this school year!
My undergraduate studies took place at Eastern Michigan University, where I have a B.S. in Elementary Science. I earned my M.A. Degree in Early Childhood Education also from EMU. I has a strong desire to improve my craft and participate in continuing education courses.

In my spare time, I enjoy fitness, attending concerts, house plants, traveling the world, reading, home design, working towards a minimalist lifestyle, bird watching, and spending quality time with friends and family. I deeply care about animals and conserving the environment.
